MAINSTREAM.....

started in the seventies as a renewal movement within the Baptist denomination. Having seen its original vision largely fulfilled, Mainstream is now developing as a movement of leaders and churches committed to seeking God as we stand alongside one another to share in God’s mission in the world. We are a home to churches and church leaders both within and beyond the Baptist Union. We believe there is a wealth of experience and wisdom amongst us that can help us all express mission effectively. But to realise this we must learn to honour and release one another in ministry.

Mainstream – four focal points of urgency in
     God’s mission
:

 Apostolic Ministry.....

As Mainstream Network Minister, Rob White (biog) has a national apostolic ministry, and serves with his wife Marion.

Peter Nodding, Derek Hills, Graham Jefferson and Stephen Ibbotson have been identified to develop apostolic teams in their areas and nationally, on a voluntary basis, and other leaders are being sought to give a percentage of their time to serve this strategic vision.
